In this report I will be analysing the 5 AMP what I have chosen, theses are: Colin Murray and Friends, Home Grown Talent With Target. The Punt, The Bugle and Sloth Pod.

The purpose of the Punt is to entertain and inform however, it also is an advertisement for William Hill. This entertains as they use interesting people how have a bit ‘banter’, they also inform people with stats and betting odds

In this report I will be analysing the 5 AMP what I have chosen, theses are: Colin Murray and Friends, Home Grown Talent With Target. The Punt, The Bugle and Sloth Pod. I will talk about the purpose

The purpose of the Punt is to entertain and inform however, it also is an advertisement for William Hill. This entertains as they use interesting people who have a bit ‘banter’, they also inform people with stats and betting odds. However this isn’t different to a show like Sloth Pod, Charlie Sloth’s podcast where the purpose is to entertain. However Sloth Pod is more of talk show/music than informative like The Punt.  Although the Sloth Pod is like Home Grown Talent With Target as the purpose of that is to entertain with use of music,this os different to a show like Colin and friends where the purpose is to inform people about sport where as something like the Bugle informs people about the news but makes fun of it as it is a comedy podcast.

The style of The Punt Is a chat show about sport like Colin Murray and Friends as the style is sports. However  Sloth Pod is is a chat show as they gossip and interviews. Homegrown talent with target is purely a music show where as the bugle is is comedy about the news.

Sloth pod gives the audience entertainment and information about the guest on it, this is like Colin Murray and friends as they have guest on and they give information about them. Also they give information about sport and predictions to the audience. The Punt is like this as they give predictions about football like Colin Murray and Friends however this gives odd of betting to the audience. Homegrown talent with target gives the audience artist from the uk how listens can listen too.

Sloth pod is simple chat show however guest on the show might influence the audience in thought however they might think differently to the presenter. as the bugle influences thought about recent news and engages by making fun of it however this very different to The Punt what gives advice they could make money. Wheres as Colin Muarry Friends meaning engages the listeners into thought of information about sport. Homegrown Talent with Target advertise small artist’s music.

The gerne of Home Grown Talent With Target is music show like Slothpod but that is generally a chat show. Which is like Coin Muarry and Friends which is sports chat show like the Punt however, The Punt is an Advertisement.

The taget audience all of the five amps above have the social grades of A,B&C1. All also are aimed towards men. However, shows like Home Grown Talent With Target and  Slothpod  have a age range of 14-25. Shows like The Bugle have age range of 40-60.  The two Football podcast vairy evan both are aimed at Football fans but The Punt is for 18-40 year olds as its used for online betting, but Colin Murray and Friends is for people aged 16-35.

Shows like Home Grown Talent With Target,  Colin Murray and Friends & Sloth Pod are upload or on-air every 7 days. However The Bugle is upload a few times a week and The Punt is upload either once or twice  a week 

if the show is a radio show like Home Grown Talent With Target it will have at least a 30 second delay when recoding however a podcast like Slotpod it will be record, edited and uploaded.
